Description

Highly effective waterproofing gel suitable for any products made from smooth and grain leather, nubuck, suede and synthetics. Provides long lasting waterproofing protection to all materials. 

The Collonil Leather Gel is formulated from natural oils and balms and doesn’t contain any solvents, which can be very damaging to leather. These natural oils help to create a waterproof layer, which is effective at protecting your leather products from moisture, water, snow and direct sun light. 

The Gel is also a good way of gently cleaning your product.  It is dirt and moisture-repellent, whilst also conditioning and colour-activating your item.  It increases the longevity and appearance of your leather products by deeply penetrating the pores and grains so that the gel is fully absorbed by the leather. 

HOW TO USE

Wipe the area with a damp (not wet) cloth to remove surface dirt. It is important to do this as it creates a clean surface which allows the gel to be absorbed and a waterproof layer built. Allow the item to dry. Then apply a small amount of the Gel onto the soft dry Collonil Cotton Cloth and massage it with circular moves into the leather. This will help to gently cleanse the leather and also moisturise and protect it from wet weather conditions. Once dry, buff with circular and horizontal strokes using a soft Hewitts Horsehair Brush. Use as often as required. You can also use Collonil Leather Gel as a second step after cleaning the leather with 1909 Leather Cleaning Cream to create an additional protective waterproof layer.
